Where can you get hand signed posters,

I request them myself to the individual.

I currently have the following:

An Anchorman A4 poster signed by Steve Carell and Will Ferrell

A signed Seeking a Friend for the End of the World A4 poster by Keira Knightley and Steve Carell

A signed photo of Michael Scott by Steve Carell

A signed A4 poster of Hope Springs by Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones and Steve Carell.

Three signed photos of Dieter Laser (from the Human Centipede) - I know the guy personally.

A signed photo of Jim and Pam from the Office by John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer

I love signed posters! Got em all framed too!

I got mine at conventions:

Colin Baker, Dan Southworth, Jason Faunt, Erin Cahill, Johnny Yong Bosch, Vernon Wells, Ron Rogge, Reggie Rolle, Amy Rolle, Ricardo Medina Jr., Phillip Jeanmarie, Jessica Rey, Jack Guzman.

I have other autographs, but the people signed my old annuals and morphers (JYB, Walter Jones, Jason Faunt and Steve Cardenas signed their morphers. Blake Foster signed my old Annual). I know none of these people are a big deal to you, you probably have never heard of them, but it was a big deal to me.

It all depends on who you're looking to get. There are few ways of obtaining signed posters. Buying from merchants (do your homework on that one first), attend conventions, attending a premier, etc..., send a poster to a celeb (not many will take them, but its always an idea to write and ask first).

Yeah sure, I'm getting a camera/camcorder soon so I'll do it then

Some may be preprinted, but they are their REAL signatures, it's all the same in my eyes to be honest.

Mostly in person at signings like conventions.

Sometimes darkdel.com does poster signings and you don't have to live in LA to get them, as you can order them from their site.

I have a full-size 27" x 41" poster from the 2004 "Punisher" film, signed by Thomas Jane and Tim Bradstreet. Unfortunately, my scanner's nowhere big enough to accommodate it, but here's two pics from my cell phone...
