Default IGN's Top 25 PS4 games (2014 list)

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/...ording-to-ign/

IGN has now posted their list of the top 25 PS4 (and PS3) games.

I think the way Sony is tweeting about it is interesting in their choice of figurehead

23. Mercenary Kings
22. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
21. Call of Duty: Ghosts

17. Killzone: Shadow Fall
16. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition

There's enough PS4 games for a top 25 list?!

There's a lot that I still don't care about, and a lot of them are just HD re-releases (including the #1 game ).

Give it another year or two, and I think the list will be more impressive.

2015 is supposed to be the big year...

And while I know you are
[Show spoiler](hopefully)
joking about the games on PS4, I think the full list is above 110 games as of now

I know it gets hate but I love Knack and am disappointed it didn't make the list. But it's IGN so I didn't expect much.

I knew there'd be plenty of games out there. Didn't realize we had over 100 though. That's pretty good.

I also don't see Destiny on there. Too new, I guess?

Wolfenstein is the only other game out there that feels like something I have to have.

Maybe the list was done on pure sales & not from consumer like? I'm kinda befuddled.

It's a damn good game! Completely took me by suprise & the Platinum for it is not that hard to get. I just saw in store the other day too for $40. Totally worth it.

That #1 game will probably still be in the top 10 by the end of the generation. I would say it has a terrible order in any case.

A lot of the ones I'd include in the top 25 but I'm not sure I agree with the order.

The fact that a PS3 remaster is at the top of that list is kind of disappointing.

Meh, it's not like it is a mediocre PS3 game that got remastered and still is best.

With all the hate it gets I can't believe they put Killzone on there but then excluded Wolfenstein.

I also am surprised they put Ghosts on there instead of Battlefield 4. Most people I know prefer the latter now that its beyond the initial launch issues.

It's not about the quality of the actual game, but it goes to show how much there isn't out there yet in these first 10 months that a remaster is considered better than the actual PS4 games.

Name a better game from the first 10 months of any other consoles release. Not a very easy thing to do. I find this anti rerelease notion of recent to be tiresome. No one was complaining just a year or so ago when the ps3 was getting far more games from ps2 rereleased for it. But now the ps4 gets three people start saying all we get is rerelease which if anything have decreased in frequency recently. TLOU, like Tomb Raider where for many considered unplayable due to there poor performance on the ps3, getting a version that runs reasonably well I cannot say is a bad thing.

I have this game, but not really gotten much into it yet, still in Germany so I've not hit the main story mode yet either.

I've certainly had many issues with previous Killzones, but I like Shadow Fall so far. It's certainly great looking and it feels like it takes place in another world or far in the future.

Not played COD Ghosts, yet I've heard it's just not a good game in general, as well as Battlefield 4.

What a terrible list. But it is IGN so I expected nothing less.

Well the 4th highest rated game of all time was a Dreamcast launch game so it really isn't that hard

But I don't have a problem with remasters. Although I found them more appealing on PS3 due to the trophies and HD resolutions being added while PS3 already has that stuff. So for that reason I would still rather see more PS2 remasters happen no matter if they are on PS3, PS4 or Vita. No Onimusha HD Collection is a travesty!

I wonder if Onimusha now will have legal problems because of he music rights since the composer of the music didn't actually compose it. I'd love to see some stuff from back in the day given an HD treatment, Codename Veronica, Shenmue, etc..

Speaking or remasters and reboots, 2017 will be the 20th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII...
