Vince Vaugn is always good value. I'm not really familiar with anything of Kevin James though.

Got to worry when the critic quote get a foint size as big as the movie title... And Ron Howard on a comedy? What I've read of the film sounds pretty ordinary. I'll probably grab it when it is $10 or so.

I'm really looking forward to this one! Also know the architect of the funky house owned by Channing Tatum's character.

This was funny, and had a good story to go with it.

Everyone should at least rent it if they missed it in the theater run.

If my friend hadn't paid, I would've upped and left. I have terrible taste in movies and this was just... words can't describe.

Not even worth the rental.

For the first hour of this movie I wrestled around endlessly in my seat bored. I kept telling myself it was going to get better. Eventually, my gal whispers to me, "can we leave?". Only movie I have ever contemplated and then walked out of.

We both love these kind of generic comedies but this was painfully unfunny.

Yeah, my mother saw this, as one of her friends was an extra in the film actually, so they got a whole bunch of people to go see it. Sadly, most of them did not really enjoy it. She actually made a point to tell me, this might be one I actually "should not" add to my collection. She said it was not all that funny, and in some parts it was really more of a drama, and kind of sad. It was certainly not the movie she thought she was going to see, especially considering who's starring in it.

Reading the review, if does sound bizarre. What exactly were they going for? Not a drama. Not a comedy. Not really anything.

I can't imagine anyone wanting this awful film in their collection. Even if it was fair, I still can't imagine anyone being in the mood for this bad film. This film and The Tourist were two of the last worst films i've seen in recent history.

The Dilemma was like Ron Howard trying to write a Woody Allen or Kevin Smith film, but it was neither funny nor emotional. The writing just fell flat and the storyline is just not interesting. The only good thing about this movie is that Winona Ryder is hot in the film, and my least favorite current actor - Channing Tatum - does his first good performance.

I was just at Best Buy, and The Dilemma did not have a slipcover.

Ending up giving it a rent... well first I had high expectations because of Vaughn and James but after reading reviews with just about everyone bashing it, I had very very low expectations and it ending up not being so bad wasn't down right awful. I think a lot of people were expecting a hilarious comedy considering the actors. It was nothing great but not too bad. Not worth buying but give it a rent.

Finally sat down and watched this over the weekend. It was a very confusing film, tone wise, as most have posted. Almost uncomfortable at times. If your having relationship issues don't sit down and watch this film with that other person.
Coming from Ron Howard and starring the cast it does my expectations were a touch higher for this title.
The acting was good, the film was shot nicely and looks and sounds nice on blu. The script is where this film fell well short.
Movie: 2.5/5
PQ: 4/5
AQ: 4/5

This was awful! Rec'd it from Streamflix Wed. Watched it tonight. We made ourselves finish it, but it was just awful. How sad that a crap movie like "Drive Angry" (which we watched immediately after) was better.

What a weird movie. A plot that made no sense; I wouldn't be surprised to learn the entire film is a series of unscripted candid/improv moments of the actors going through a hangover. And who convinced Jennifer Connelly to star in this?!
