Default Amazon Instant Video now on Android

It appears hell hath frozen over...

Good news for those that have a non-Kindle Android, but want in on the Instant Video app.

From what I can tell, it's streaming only (no downloads, unlike the Kindle Fire HDX) and no Chromecast support. Makes me wonder if downloads will be next, or they will keep that as an exclusive feature to the Fire line.

Yeah, I just saw that on Amazon and was shocked. It works pretty well. I downloaded it within the regular Amazon app on my LG Optimus G Pro without any problems.

Aside from the lack of ability to download movies, I couldn't tell if it displayed movies in HD or not. I switched back and forth between SD and HD on a few titles in my library and the video quality was identical. Plus I didn't see "HD" at the bottom during the movie like I would on a Kindle Fire HD or HDX.

Regardless, it's good to finally have this available in some capacity on Android.
