Hi everyone,
I have been going in circles on the internet trying to find out what is wrong with my Dali Basis 100 subwoofer. There is currently no sound emitted from the system either through my amp (Denon 1908) or if I tap the end of the connected RCA cable. I have the dials for crossover and volume set to the 12 o clock position and phase to 180, and I have been slowly dialling these. It is on LFE/Main and I have set the amp control to 120Hz but have been going through different options. The fronts are on Small 80Hz. Power works fine though, great. Two days ago it was giving out a slight, dull bass throb so now I think it might be knackered and wonder if it's worth repairing it. I tried to put all info I could in but don't really know much about subs or sound systems as a whole. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

You can always double check. Run some output device (CD, DVD, music streamer, etc) directly into one of the inputs on the sub. Start with the gain all the way down on the sub and slowly increase it. Play a bassy song. If you hear nothing....it is definitely the sub
