filming has been done for quite some time..

the real question is what will happen in the 3rd movie as it was supposed to be about the Joker Trial or something involving him and a few other characters..

but let's not think about this right now..

he just died a few hours ago

and seriously.......

Exactly. I could care less about the movie. I was just curious if he was done filming or not. Anyways, I'm so shocked right now.

Amen brother. It disgusts me that people are more concerned about a film rather than Heath, his family and friends. A great tragedy.

All I care about is the movie. Sorry for sounding selfish, but I'm a huge Batman fan. Thank God filming was already done.

Besides, the next movie is all about Two Face.

This is Blu-ray.com, of course people are worried about what this does to the next movie. Yes, a tragic thing just happened, but I don't expect people to not wonder what impact this may have on their own life.

Heath Ledger was a great actor and yesterday's news was truely sad.

From reports going around, production on The Dark Knight was complete and he had begun filming Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

This film will likely be re-cast and Heath's part re-shot due to production being in the early stages of filming.

The release of The Dark Knight, Heath Ledger's final film due in July 2008, has not been confirmed by Warner Bros who have sent out the following statement:

The studio is stunned and devastated by this tragic news. The entertainment community has lost an enormous talent. Heath was a brilliant actor and an exceptional person. Our hearts go out to his family and friends. - Warner Bros president Alan Horn and studio president Jeff Robinov
