I posted this in the sub woofer section, but might be considered a general speaker question. I am replacing an old sub woofer driver with an Infinity 1260W. Problem I have now is connecting the wires from the plate amp to driver. The connectors are not the same as the original driver. I guess they are two spades? Wasn't sure how to connect the wires. Went out and purchased 12-10 AWG .250 insulated Female Disconnects from Home Depot. Placed bare wire slightly in. Crimped with pliers. And slid them on to the spades. I have no idea what I am doing. But I plan on running the sub in the morning. If anyone can please chime in and inform me how to properly connect the wire, I would greatly appreciate it.
