Default Need Some Help

I asked this question in another thread and it was recommended that I go to the AVS forum and ask but I want to try here first before I go and create an account over there.

I've had a 50in Panasonic ST50 plasma a little over a year now. Lately, I've noticed a thin black line only along the left side of the TV. The normal black border that goes around it is a 1/2 cm wide but this line is 1 cm wide. It also seems like it changes in width sometimes (it'll go from 1 cm to probably 3 cm and then back again). It does this on both my HDMI inputs.

I've done a factory reset and all my settings match the ones found HERE and it still is there. It's really visible when watching 1.78 and 1.85 stuff (haven't watched anything in 2.39 lately). I've changed the aspect ratio setting on my TV to 4:3 (which puts grey pillarboxes on the sides) and the line is still visible up close between the edge of the TV and the edge of the pillarbox.

I've changed settings on my cable box and blu ray player, I've also tried different HDMI cables and still no change. It's very annoying.

Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

Do you have the pixil shift/orbiter turned on? If so turn that off and seenofnit makes a difference.

Turning if off helps a tad bit but not much.

Another thing that I've noticed is that no matter what aspect setting I'm on, Full, H-Fill, Fill, 4:3, or Just, the line is still visible.
