HDMI question... - Blu-ray Forum

My TV is the Samsung HL-T5687s which has HDMI 1.2. My PS3 has HDMI 1.3a.

What I am wondering is what, if any, would be the drawback of my TV only having 1.2?

You lose so-called "Deep Color". I'm usually enthusiastic about minor improvements, but this is very minor (due to the limits of what the human eye can see), so don't worry about it. Marketing departments are just being marketing departments...
