Been wanting to check this one out but have had to keep kicking the TCM recording off my DVR due to lack of space. Awesome that Kino is bringing this to Blu-ray.

It's a very good movie, and Shirley Jones is hot in it. It's very similar to Frank Capra's The Miracle Woman, which was based on a play that was inspired by the Sinclair Lewis novel Elmer Gantry.

I like and recommend both movies.

Elmer Gantry is a great character study with outstanding performances by Lancaster, Simmons and Kennedy. It has one of the finest scripts Hollywood has ever produced.

Oh I am aware of that.

I flipped over to TCM and one of her scenes came on and I was like

and that's how the movie came to my attention.

It's hard narrowing titles down, but I'd love to see Run Silent Run Deep, Seven Days in May, Ulzana's Raid, and Executive Action soon as well.

Yeah doesn't that make it like 6 films of his that are coming out on Blu-ray this year?
