Becoming Traviata (Natalie Dessay)

Pony Canyon will release Philippe Béziat's documentary Becoming Traviata (Traviata et nous) (2012), starring French opera star Natalie Dessay, in Japan on May 2nd.

This appears to be the film's Blu-ray debut. Note that the performance which the documentary follows (Festival d'Aix-en-Provence 2011) is also only released on DVD only, from Virgin Classics.

In the USA, the film is currently available on DVD only, courtesy of Cinema Guild. In the UK, the film will be released on DVD only by Axiom Films on March 24th.

I'm not seeing the "o" in Travolta, though. I do see the "l", but not the "o", so I admit, I had not thought of "Becoming Travolta".

LOL... you're thinking too much about it. If you just move your eyes over the title (especially when scanning the other titles in the ASIA thread), it looks like BECOMING TRAVOLTA. It's only when you stop to specifically look at the title that I noticed it said something else.

In other words: internet humor.
