Paul Walker To Play 'Agent 47' In HITMAN Reboot; Aleksander Bach To Direct

Timothy Olyphant was a much better fit for the role than Paul Walker. I would have preferred a decent sequel with Olyphant reprising the role. But I'll admit, I am curious to see what they do with a reboot.

All the semi-original stories out there, and FOX decides to re-boot a videogame movie that obviously no one cared for in the first place starring one of the most non-actingest actors in Hollywood.

God, I can't wait until this bombs, but then I'm sure they'll do another one in 2019 starring Justin Beiber.

I actually liked the first one, as they casted Olyphant correctly. As for Walker; he CAN act, but it will be up to him to pull it together, and deliver. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

You mean nobody cared enough, but it did x4 its budget not accounting for dvd/blu-ray sales

It actually did better in revenue than There Will Be Blood

I like Paul Walker and all but this just does not seem right for him. All I can picture is him in Running Scared.

The first one is a piece of shit, but it's kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. I enjoy it when I watch it because they weren't afraid of an R rating. Well the Unrated cut furthers that, but my point stands. I'm not against Paul Walker. Honestly, I don't care one way or the other. I just look forward to seeing another iteration.

While the news of the reboot isn't surprising, because it was hinted at last year, the casting really surprises me...Olyphant was actually quite good in the first film, where as I find Walker to be terribly wooden in most things, other than 'Running Scared'. I'm hoping for the best here though, and as long as the movie is entertaining, I'll be happy.

An odd choice for sure. I'm with everybody else who thought that Timothy Olyphant was really good in the role of 47. He gave off the cold-hearted badass-ness that the character needed. I'm really curious, though. Will Paul Walker completely shave his head for the role?
