Default New Poster art contribution requirements

Question...

With the new 1:1.5 requirement for movie poster contributions what are we supposed to do about TV movies that have no posters or for older films that only have the "sideways" style movie posters available?

Up until now, especially for older TV movies that have no posters, I have been doing screen-caps of the title credit. Is it now preferable to just leave them with no artwork? Seems a shame...

Aye, we are trying to standardize the theatrical movie covers for a uniform look. We will add a cropping tool so you can crop uploads that doesn't fit the 1:1.5 format, such as TV covers or older posters.

I am usually pretty anal about things being uniform but in this case I'm a little troubled by it. I have even tried to upload a few posters that SHOULD be acceptable but are denied because the ratio is just slightly off. Also, all the ones that I have uploaded for TV movies or old posters are probably going to look bad when cropped to fit this. Anyway, just my two cents...

It seems like no matter how I re-size the poster for one movie, this site just won't accept it because it isn't 1:1.5. I even copied one of the posters from UseY0ur1llusi0n's posts and made the image I was trying to upload fit over it exactly in an image editing program, keeping the size the same. Still no dice.

Do you have any example for testing?

This is the image I was trying to resize:

I adjusted it to fit the exact size of the examples UseY0ur1llusi0n posted, but no luck. I kept getting the message that it wasn't the right 1:1.5 ratio.
