United Kingdom Steelpak Editions (UK)

Not sure if this is already up but this is the first time i see this.

Zavvi is releasing something called a Steel Pack... not sure if it is the same thing as steelbook or metalpak?

Here is the link: http://www.zavvi.com/elysium.search?...l+Pack+Edition

Fairly certain they're MetalPaks, but who knows?

Silent Hill wasn't a great movie, but that "SteelPack" for it is pretty nice. If they used different art on the back it'd be perfect, even.

I didn't even want to pay $8 at Target for Metalpaks, let alone $34 for these!

Thanks for that

I think the metal pack looks so unbelievably tacky and a cheap imitation of a steelbook. Why would you possibly opt for that??

I agree. I personally don't see why they are gaining momentum because they don't feel to me like a comparable product with SteelBooks. But some people do like them so I won't trash them too much

I certainly won't be shelling out $$ for these or try to pick up anymore US releases either. Just don't like them

Too bad Scanavo had to kill off VMBs in the US. Disney was putting out some nice looking products there.

I can't imagine how damaged these are going to be once Zavvi ships them out in their packaging since they seem more prone to damage, at least from what I've seen and heard

LOL at Zavvi if they think people are going to pay £20 for those. They are really starting to make a bad name for themselves.

For the record, the Expendable listing on that page is a steelbook...I know because I bought it last year.

So now it's: MetalFutureSteelpaks? I'm loving this!

I guess since they are not Zavvi exclusives, they should appear on AmazonUK. I will definitely be getting Jennifer's Body, when the price drops. Horrible film, but fantastic looking MetalFutureSteelpak.

There's a lot, in life, I don't even care to understand. As long as I'm having fun, and they are having fun....
