AWESOME!!!!!! This concert is the best of all, as it's with Bon Scott! I pray it has received a thorough remaster for HD! The amount and contend of supplements sounds absolutely amazing! Day one for me!
This has just made my day, and I am not even an AC/DC fan anymore, but Angus was the reason I picked up the guitar! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I wonder what's it's going to sell for on Amazon. ![]() |

I've always loved AC/DC but I loved it more when Bon Scott was still around. Is this going to be a steelbook or just a tin case like what you see on shows like The Pacific, Band of Brothers, etc.?
Edit: Who cares about the case? If its a limited edition, then I'm preordering. Last edited by Blu-ray Fanatic; 02-11-2011 at 10:57 AM. |

Day one purchase for me.
I saw this film in theaters, waaayyyyyy back in the early 1980's, a couple of times. Even the tickets themselves were cool and collectible; each ticket and stub featured a picture of one of the band, and was printed in a different color on different nights/showings. I still have a couple of them, too. And they had a huge sound system right in the theater! If I can find 'em, I'll post a scan of the stubs here later. |

Awesome news! This'll go right next to Ladies and Gentleman, The Rolling Stones and The Song Remains the Same forming a nice little section of classic rock on blu-ray! I was about to cave and get one of the current AC/DC blus, but I'm glad I held out for Bon. Nothing against Brian, as I'll still pick up Donington eventually, but there's nothing like a classic concert on blu with the original line-up.
![]() Bon Scott. Although it's not like Brian's never sung it. |

Phil Rudd, no question. I used to be in an AC/DC tribute band, and I can hear, easily & immediately, the difference between Rudd and Slade. Rudd is much more "organic" sounding and is a much heavier hitter than Slade. I was happy as all hell when Rudd returned to the band. Rudd's always going to have that drum sound that musicians connect to the AC/DC sound, and Slade was okay, but he never could quite pull that off. |
