Default Insignia 40" LED 1080P - Not Bad

Model #NS-40D510NA15 Link

I know that we're all PQ elitists on here. I've got a very nice Samsung 6350 in my living room.

But, I've bought two of these for my parents and one for my bedroom over the past month. $249 a piece is a steal. I hooked my PS4 up to the one in the bedroom and the input lag was more than acceptable.

They are a very decent set. The set is back to $250 this week and I'm contemplating buying one for the sunroom.

Thanks for the heads up on this one. My brother's wedding is coming up soon and this would be a great wedding gift. Their only big screen kicked the bucket and between the wedding and their son just don't have the funds to get something else.

i have a 50" insignia led in my bedroom for watching tv & blu-ray movies and it's perfect for it. i also have a 32" for my 2 channel setup to see album art, watch and navigate my oppo 105's screen, watch movies on and soon i'll have a ps3 connected to it too. i'm happy with it as well. if you need really fine resolution and quick changes this might not be for you if it's for "critical" movie watching" i don't have one in my HT setup. but, for almost all other non critical viewing, it's perfect.

don't get me wrong, it's a great set, but, when really dark scenes are on, dark going to black, you get to see what i mean. it does a good job of 24p so i'm happy about that. i'm very happy with the 2 sets that i own. i also purchased 2 of the 40" sets for my daughter for apartment while she is in graduate school, she love them!

best of luck.
