Default Avengers: Season 5 - Digital HD code is worthless

The Avengers: Season 5 (Blu-ray + Digital HD) came out this week. The redemption page lists 4 retailers (Vudu, Flixster, Target Ticket and CinemaNow). None of them carry the show. So I can't find anywhere to redeem the code.

I sent an email to Lionsgate customer service and got a worthless canned response that didn't address my questions.

Anyone know where or when we'll be able to redeem this code?

+1, I received my copy on Monday and figured I'd have to wait until the next day to redeem it, and here it is Friday night and still MIA.

iTunes and Amazon appear to be the only place even offering this show, but the code won't work at either of them. I wound up using Handbrake to rip the discs so I could watch them via Plex... by the time Lionsgate and its UV partners get their act together, I'll have probably watched them all. :roll eyes:

Why not try posting this on the Vudu forums? Sometimes, the studios do not always send the content to Vudu prior to release date of the physical media which is why there can be a lag in terms of being able to redeem promotional content (codes).

In the past, they have been very helpful in terms of getting content added to Vudu for redemption via code.

Recently, the same situation was the case with Batman The Complete TV Series, and within a couple of days Vudu had all of the content added.

Alternatively, you can also try opening up a ticket via their phone support line:

There's already a thread at the Vudu Forum. I also opened a support ticket with Vudu a couple days ago. So far they haven't responded to either.

Hopefully they'll get this fixed next week. But until then, I wanted to warn anyone on this board that might buy/trade the digital copy code.

I also posted about it on the VUDU forums, but they seem to have their hands full with TAMMY redeeming in SD, half a season of BATMAN missing, and this Disney Movies Anywhere tie-up coming on Tuesday.

Flixster appears to be on the case, however... AVENGERS S5 has finally shown up on their radar with a "Coming Soon." Better than nothing...

It was supposed to be today (Nov 21st). But I checked and the date has changed to Nov 26th.
