Recommend a movie for me.

Here are my tastes - epics (i.e., Lawrence of Arabia, Gone with the Wind, Ben Hur), crime/courtroom dramas (i.e., JFK, Witness for the Prosecution, Anatomy of a Murder, Zodiac), movies with great screenplays (i.e., Casablanca, It Happened One Night), War (i.e., Saving Private Ryan, Zulu). SciFi (i.e., Aliens, Star Wars, Serenity). Actually I have pretty eclectic tastes.

Movies I loathe: most modern comedies, modern slasher/horror movies, and mindless action movies.

I believe it's still the only time someone has won an Oscar for portraying a character of the opposite sex.

One of my favorites from the past ten years or so is Hunger starring Michael Fassbender.
