I really enjoy the alien and aliens movies, terminator 1 and 2, and was wondering any other good Sci Fi action thriller movies on blu ray. Could be from the 80s or 90s, or possibly something newer. What do you recommend?

Given your mentioning the "Alien" movies, I would suggest 'Prometheus'. If you have not seen it, you might find 'Forbidden Planet' enjoyable. But given that it is nearly 60 years old, it's effects is not cgi, however it was the best Sci-fi prior to '2001'.

Great flick and it really needs a blu. Extremely underrated.

Which is the robocop version that has the best quality? Does it say remastered on the front?

Escape from New York is available on blu-ray, but there's a collector's edition coming from Scream Factory in April as well; Escape from L.A. is also available.

As for recommendations, I'll second Dredd, the Total Recall Remake, both Robocops, The Matrix and Event Horizon.

I'll also throw in Pandorum as a fun sort of Alien knockoff. I don't know why this gets slammed as much as it does. It's not great but it's pretty damn good.

And this one is a little off the 'sci-fi action' reservation but an Alien fan might really like Triangle. The horror/sci-fi mix is tilted very strongly to horror but it's very good and thought-provoking in a pretty fun way.
