Need code for PS3 to setup Onkyo 805 Macro - Blu-ray Forum

I'm attempting to establish a macro with my Onkyo 805 receiver which would turn on the PS3 at the same as my TV and receiver, but I can't seem to find the appropriate code to enter....can anyone help?

You mean for your IR-remote?

The PS3 uses bluetooth for its own remote and has no built-in IR-receiver.
So you can't do that out of the box.

But I know NYKO makes an IR-USB remote (The Blu-Wave). I don't own it myself so I can't tell you if you can turn the PS3 on with it (via the Playstation button)

I have the NYCO remote and I use the USB IR adapter to control the PS3 with my Harmony 880 universal.

You CANNOT turn the PS3 on or off with the IR remotes.

That's the main disadvantage.
