I completely forgot about the Spongebob movie, it'll be between that or Jupiter, Seventh Son is completely dead upon arrival.

I'll probably go Spongbob, probably getting a ton of advertising on the kids channels and it'll likely pay off since there is nothing else for kids at the moment other than Paddington. Although I'm pulling for Jupiter, I don't think it looks particularly good but hopefully it'll be a bit more high brow than Spongebob.

I wonder if IMAX will ask Warner if they can split showtimes between American Sniper and Jupiter Ascending.

Depends on if the families still want to turn out for Spongebob

Otherwise, Sniper goes for the 4-peat me thinks.

Were Legos still popular last February?

A family movie is a family movie, and parents will still bring their kids out on the weekends to see them. Admittedly, this film should've came out closer to spring break for younger children to maximize box office numbers, but I guess with no animated competition in sight, the studios decided on February.

Considering American Sniper has been a surprise hit, I guess I'll vote for that as the movie I think will pull in the most money. For the sake of the Wachowskis' future I'd like for Jupiter Ascending to be successful, but considering how things went for Speed Racer and Cloud Atlas...

Legos are always popular though. Maybe it's just in my head (I really want Legos again).

Finally something to take down Sniper. SpongeBob will likely be #1.

Strange Magic might take a lot of families away from Spongebob. Sniper might be able to repeat.

Yes. It's still on Nick all the time.

#9 this weekend and fading fast. It will have little impact on Spongebob next weekend.

Man, that's a loaded weekend. Seventh Son seems to have box office bomb written all over it, especially since it's going after a similar audience as Jupiter Ascending(fantasy vs. sci-fi). I'm guessing SpongeBob or Sniper will be #1.

No actually because I despise the cast. I also hate how the directors are still given huge budgets, it's over for them.

That's pretty dumb, actually. If a film has actors in it I don't like or it's from a filmmaker I don't like, I just won't see it. I have no interest in whether it does well or not at the box office. It's not like I care about how much money the Transformers films makes.

Also, the Wachowskis are great filmmakers in my opinion and at least they're doing things no one else is with their huge budgets. Better that than the latest cookie cutter superhero flick or sequel.

Ha! It won't be better than GotG, not by a mile.
