I do like the black Zavvi/Spanish steel though, just didn't like the film enough to shell out $40 for it. If Blufans is releasing though, I'll have to buy it of course.

I doubt its Maleficent with different Steelbook Artwork

I cant see Disney allowing different artwork on the steelbook itself with a new release as they usually only allow different artwork with back catalogue titles and Maleficent is not a back catalogue title unless the release date is middle of next year or later

Its could still be Maleficent of course same steelbook as Zavvi/Spain but with Full Slip case or Lenticular slip cover with different artwork

If its not Maleficent then its most likely a back catalogue Disney title with new artwork overall which could be from a lot of possible titles

I'm just thinking it won't be pixar otherwise Kevin would have said Pixar instead of just Disney. Maleficent would be the safe bet but if this is still far away Big Hero 6 is entirely possible.

They also did Oz: TGaP when it was a fairly recent release as well, and it had unique art.

Plus, if it's Maleficent, it probably won't be released for 6 months or so from now, since there are sooo many releases before it from Blufans.

and I'm probably forgetting something in there as well. I just don't see Blufans getting all of these released in the next six months. That would be nearly two per month.

Announcement came way back in February at which point it was still a brand new release and most of the countries did not even had a blu Ray release in release in February. I remember frozen blu Ray was released in March in US.

By having the release date more than 3-6 months or later than the original worldwide release it becomes a back catalogue title so its possible then

Its still possible but no way will Disney allow a release happen now as next couple of months with new artwork they are now a lot stricter with artwork changes

He could announce it now with different artwork but with a release date middle of next year meaning it would be back catalogue by then and even then it takes months to get final artwork approval
Look at Frozen that took ages for artwork approval and release date

I like to see it happen but don't expect Maleficent with different artwork until middle of next year as a release date around March timeframe
