Outlaw: Gangster VIP Collection Blu-ray Pre-order

The series offers up a depiction of the Japanese underworld that was unprecedented in its realism and its sympathetic portrayal of its protagonist as a man haunted by his past, unable to escape a life of crime. The success of the initial instalment spawned five sequels, continuing the story of the lone wolf "Slasher" Goro and his quest for redemption.

The films presented a new kind of realism and violence that would prefigure Kinji Fukasaku's Battles Without Honor and Humanity series, with their winning combination of brutal violence, gang warfare and sweeping romance, these films make for a unique and unforgettable viewing experience.

I read that Kill! is an amazing movie. Any opinions would be appreciated as this would be a blind buy for me....

6 movies for $60? Seems like a much better deal than Battles Without Honor or Humanity. Locked in a pre-order for now.

Battles is on another level in terms of movie quality.

My most anticipated set of the Spring

. Battle Without Honor and Humanity is OOP per Arrow (just what the retailers currently have in stock) and the Diamond Guys set was great. Can wait to have this is my hands.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly.

Apparently these are pretty good films, or at least the first two are, as those are the only reviews I could find for them. Looking forward to these.

Man, Arrow is truly on a role. I hope they can continue this pace with their Japanese releases. I hope they release more Fukasaku and Gosha's Violent Streets. That movie is probably one of the the most brutal Yakuza films.

Family Video's site had it as a preorder for 36.99 last night. Has since come up with a message saying "product is currently unavailable to ship" with no option to add to cart. Very strange.

Family Video charges at shipping unless you use paypal of course. Their packaging is usually pretty fine too, I never had a issue.

Great price at Family Video. Went ahead and pre ordered. Came to $42 after shipping and tax. I don't imagine this getting much cheaper than that.

also "Estimated Delivery Date: 02/28/2016"

As am I. Surprised Diabolik hasn't gotten this yet as they normally get Arrow releases a few weeks in advance. Really want to see these films.
