Default Ever After High

Quote:
Mattel has plans to bring its multi-tiered product line, Ever After High, to the big screen. Deadline reports that Chernin Entertainment is developing the property, which takes place at a fantasy high school and the follows the adventures of the teenage sons and daughters of iconic fairy tale characters.

Launched in 2013 as a companion toy line to Mattel's popular "Monster High" property, Ever After High follows characters like Apple White (Snow White's daughter), Briar Beauty (Sleeping Beauty's daughter) and Ashlynn Ella (Cinderella's daughter). The property currently also offers a tie-in book series and has an animated series heading to Netflix in 2015.

Disney Channel is, meanwhile, working on their own, similarly-themed take on fairy tale lineage with The Descendants, a live-action telefilm following the teenage children of several famous Disney villains. It's set to air next spring.

Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping will oversee the project, which appears to still be in very early stages.

With Monster High coming in 2016, I wonder if this will hit in 2017 or even later as it's still in the early stages.

I would pay for this to be put on blu ray. I know that Season 2 started on Netflix a few days ago. It is only Spring Unsprung but I hope they have more later one. It is a interesting take on the whole Fairy Tale stories, even though it is clearly marketed for girls it has really good animation and stories.

Still need to see Spring Unsprung myself. My Little Pony gets the BD treatment so the Ever After High TV show could have a chance as well.

I would hope so. Still dumb that Hasbro and Shout will not put out MLP Seasons on blu ray.
And interesting to see how this turns out when it hits the big screen.
