Default Valentine's Day 2015

What's everyone doing this Saturday?

Figured it's going to be super busy everywhere so we plan to just have lunch somewhere and stay home afterwards and watch some movies.

Saturday is going to be an awesome day for me... Not because it's Valentine's, but because I have a big, exciting day planned. I plan to attend a dog show with a group of people in the morning and in the evening, I'll be hanging out with a group of single girls... Should be fun.

i will be...doing.....whatever i can think of to do.

no significant other (by choice) so valentine's day is just another day to me.

but since it's saturday, i'm off work so i get to do whatever i feel like doing. which usually means i'll do some online gaming or out in my shop piddling around.

I'm home alone Friday. I might do this, at least for the first few, then continue the rest in March during that Friday the 13th.

For the first time ever, I actually have a Valentine! I've always been single during the holiday, breaking up or starting a relationship before or after the holiday. I've started seeing a really nice girl who lives close by, but goes to school a few hours north, so we are mailing each other Valentine's gifts and when she comes back down I will take her out to a nice dinner.

Nothing. 37th Valentine's Day since I was born, and not a one with any opportunity to celebrate. That's gotta be some kind of record.

Instead, I'll be spending Singles Awareness Day home and alone as usual.

Bought a few Green Bay Packers Valentine's gifts for the wife from the Packers Pro Shop.

Figure she'll open 'em up, try 'em on, and take 'em off.
Then I'll get my gifts!

Dinner Saturday night at a Wildfire Steakhouse, I'm sure my wife will suggest we go see 50 Shades after. Too bad they are already sold out

I'm not a valentines day fan, I don't really know why we need a day to show our appreciation for our significant other.....I do it all year long, as well as my wife, we appreciate each other every day.....

With that said though, this year, we bought into the hype.....We have reservations for a nice restaurant, and I booked a suite at a local hotel/casino for the night....so it'll be fun!! Usually we just go to dinner with the kids.

We're celebrating on Friday, not Saturday, mostly to avoid the crowds...but also because we're doing this for each other, not for valentines day......I have my own business, work 60+ hours a week, my wife works, takes care of the kids and home, and we have trouble finding time for each other.....so we're making time this weekend....

Perfect transition to my plans

Everywhere my gf wanted to eat at was sold out, so we booked dinners on Friday and Sunday nights. We both have Monday off work as well.

We will spend time together, shop, get nice dinners and...ehh nevermind.

It's a way for businesses to make money by selling overpriced roses. And it works too because if women don't get their roses, they will dump the guy. So, guys must save their relationships by buying roses for $80.

Depends on the woman, they don't all care about roses. It's not about roses, it's about a nice gesture. For example: a woman that's into the environment, might be more happy with a tree planted in her name, rather than a bunch of roses.
