This movie was not suit to make the all glossy finish and embossed with the frame,so we decide to make the steelbook like the following:

Front： "Saving Private Ryan" with the Debossed effect, the solider and ground with glossy finish,and the sky & cloud with matte finish.
Back： The iron wire with the glossy finish,another area with matte finish

Scanovo request the letters thickness must be over 0.75mm and the distance of the letters as the same so the"Saving" was no problem but the "Private Ryan" was too close and thin. They asked for larger letters. We tried but it's very ugly and the Paramount didn't allow. So we've decided to cancel the debossed effect.

Not familiar with HDzeta but I would like a steelbook of this film. Never did grab any of the steelbook versions. Are these easy to obtain or is this 3-hour nightmare preorder territory?

I have my play.com one and really wish they would release some new stuff. This has been released as a steel 2 times in multiple countries and a metalpak. We need some new blood.

What do you mean? What I meant is, a must own steelbook to be added into my collection! Especially for HDzeta release, just like BluFans. Yeah, I know. We don't even have a chance to take a look for now, but I do believe it must be cool just like Gladiator which I also participated in GB at HDN.

This is the art I've been waiting for. Has there been a release with this art? The play.com one? I thought they all had the faces. I've been close to ordering the Dutch Digibook. Probably still pick it up eventually but I'm in this one for sure!
