Default Anyone picking up Zelda for the 3DS?

I've never owned a DS, PSP etc. but Nintendo is smart by releasing this on the 3DS. I love this game and have great memories of playing it when I was growing up. I'm guessing it will sell well and will probably justify a lot of people in my position to go out and buy a 3DS. Anyone planning on picking it up?

Yes, this is my favorite game of all time. I don't have a 3DS yet, but may still buy this on release date anyway. lol
But, I will without question be getting this at some point to see what changes have been made. Plus, I thought I read it was getting a Master Quest and new Boss Challenges.

I'll definitely be picking this up when if is released this month since this is one of my favourite Zelda titles and it is one of the primary reasons why I bought a 3DS.

I am also looking forward to picking up: Kid Icarus: Uprising, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Resistance, Luigi's Mansion II, Mega Man Legends 3, Mario Kart 3DS, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Super Mario, Star Fox 64 3D, and Contra.

I own every nintendo zelda game to date and I am not planning on picking it up. I have this on the gamecube (which includes the master quest) and my Sony 52 and surround sound will trump any ds screen. Plus a bought a wii 6 years ago for a new Zelda game for the wii and I am still waiting! TLPrincess was a gamecube game (and a very good one at that). The gamecube controller trumped the wii controller hands down. Now they re-hash a game that has been repackaged multiple times (with 3d?!?) not interested. Figure out a ds player for the wii so I can play the ds games on my home theater like I can for the gameboy (that is what would truly interest me!)

The Master Quest is included with the 3DS version, also. The graphics are revamped which is the main selling point for me. Not to mention the Boss Challenge mode where you play against every boss back to back to back. Believe me I've beat the N64 game @ least 10 times since junior high but I will definitely be picking it up for the updated graphics. Nintendo Power had some split screens between the 1998 release and this release and there was a significant difference IMO to warrant a purchase. Already have it pre ordered.

Yes, that's true. I read the NP Review. BTW it got a 9.5 out of 10 by them which is the same they gave the N64 game. I've never seen them give a game a 10.

Huh- I would have thought NP of all publications would have given it a 10. Maybe since it's a Nintendo publication, they want to presume that nothing is perfect or something. But, to me if this game doesn't get a 10, nothing else better!

If any of you are still on the fence here's the official ad with some of the cut scenes. You can definitely tell there's a difference between this and the original:

I downloaded the video trailer from the eShop and you can tell that there's a lot more detail and the colours are more vibrant in the 3DS release.

I can't wait to pick up my pre-order from Best Buy in nine days.

It's definitely the must have game for me. Out of all the games for the 3DS that were previewed before the system launch, Ocarina of Time and Star Fox were the ones that I wanted the most....a pair of N64 games. Go figure I can't think of a better way to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Zelda than replaying arguably the best of the series. I put it before A Link to the Past personally.

If you want the physical copy of this and/or Star Fox 64 3D, you'd better go and find them now. They appear to be out of print. Prices are jumping up on Amazon and eBay and most stores are sold out of new copies. I already have Ocarina of Time, but not Star Fox. I found a complete used copy of Star Fox at a Gamestop today.
