The Long Kiss Goodnight Blu-ray

Warner Home Video has announced the 1996 action flick The Long Kiss Goodnight starring a blond Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson will make its way to Blu-ray Disc for the first time on January 11, 2011.
With The Long Kiss Goodnight, Warner is instituting a new catalog Blu-ray SRP of $19.98 for 2011. That should bring the on-shelf price for The Long Kiss Goodnight and other Warner catalog Blu-ray titles next year in around $15.

The Long Kiss Goodnight will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. It appears no supplemental features will be included based on the early announce notice. Check out a preview of the cover art below

Cool news! It is awesome they are planning on dropping the MSRP to $19.98 for catalog titles in 2011!

Glad to hear this. I really thought this movie was a good, fun watch. Actually, I think it was really overlooked. But I don't care. I liked it, and will definitely pick it up. Plus, you get classic Sam Jackson. And, Geena was pretty convincing as a badass blonde assassin. Good start to 2011.

It's not my favorite but I adore Geena Davis so I'll pick it up as soon as possible.

A good "take your brain out and enjoy" kinda movie

Not sure on the artwork though.

Not a bad flick. I'm not a big fan of Geena Davis in action roles, but this one had a pretty good script by Shane Black.

I've been eagerly awaiting this one!

It's too bad that Cutthroat Island bombed and The Long Kiss Goodnight underperformed. I really liked Geena in action roles and would've liked to have seen more.

Samuel L. Jackson's head has always been so stretched looking on all the dvd and vhs covers. Looks like the blu-ray is too
