Gilmore Girls: Now in HD! - Blu-ray Forum

It appears as though Apple is now offering Gilmore Girls in HD. All seven seasons are currently available for $34.99 each.

(As an aside, to the best of my knowledge, this is the first time it's been available in HD. Last time I looked, which wasn't THAT long ago, they were still being offered in SD.)

For a second there I thought you meant the total cost for all 7 seasons was $34.99! I've never seen it, but I'd buy for that price.

too bad there's no upgrade to HD option for people that may have bought in SD previously

I just wanna remind folks the last 4 seasons were shot in 16:9 Widescreen, mastered in HD, originally aired in HD, & has been on sale in HD for years on iTunes, Amazon Instant, Vudu, & etc.

The first 3 seasons were shot in 4:3 Fullscreen, mastered in SD, & originally aired in SD. So these new HD version that are on sale on iTunes are cropped to fit 16:9.
