Massive fan of the film, literally just got the shout factory release though. Doh! Will probably double dip though.

I love the packaging but how are there transfers/picture quality since I don't know much about 101 Films?

I'll say 'hit and miss'. Rollercoaster didn't look or sound too bad to me (opinions may vary), but to say that The Cooler was botched is an understatement. Let me put it this way: it was bad enough that the film's director, Wayne Kramer, took a look at the screen caps and actually posted in this site's thread stating that this is not how the film should look and that he was very disappointed. The disc's audio leaves a lot to be desired as well.

My brother and I collected quad-posters for years. I was recently given stewardship of some of the more rare examples, and I am just picking up a frame for this little beauty...
co1984.jpg The yellow-ish lighting doesn't do it justice - it's superb. Last edited by CompleteCount; 01-17-2019 at 06:05 PM. |

Ah, after over 25 years in storage, this little beauty finally makes it onto the wall of my office...
Who would have thought that Columbia Pictures handled the UK theatrical release? classframe.jpg |

I built up quite a collection of uk quads too in my day, I have one of those, maybe two. Its hard to get my better half to approve of any uk quads being displayed as many are kinda ugly due to the cheap limited colour palettes. house of exorcism is a particularly ugly poster for such a beautiful movie. At least my four flies on grey velvet abomination is half size. I’m certain to get Danger Diabolik onto the wall soon though, it’s quite cool looking.
