What a lazy photoshop steel.
That movie deserves a far better treatment.

Whoever thought that separating the characters and the shadows was a good idea needs to be fired. Along with the person who green-lighted it.
It completely ruins the effect.

Disney gives Blufans a hard time approving their creative designs, but they approve of this? Good lord.

Agreed. Just like I love the Episode 1 art where child Anakin has Vader's shadow, this should have kept the full image instead of separating them. I really liked the film and would like a steel, but not sure I'll bite on this one because of the lazy job done...

As pointed out above there must be tweeks to come as there's no Disney logos for a start.

Completely agree with you. Defeats the point of it entirely.

Not likely. There have been some Disney steels without the Disney blu logo on the spine recently. Tron Legacy comes to mind.

Well, added logo or not, that doesn't change the fact it's a lazy photoshop job that, worst of all, completely misses the nice touch of the shadows

Of course the final kick in the teeth will be that it's actually silver rather than white!

You are right but it did highlight the fact I've never noticed the shadows before despite the fact I have the poster...

It does? The new Zavvi one? I could have sworn I saw photos of the spine and it had the regular blu-ray logo, not the Disney blu-ray one.
Looking at this photo from the Legacy thread, that is indeed the case, regular blu-ray logo, not the Disney blu one...

[Show spoiler]
I was referring to Disney logos in general but on the subject of Disney blu Ray logo on UK releases, Tron is the only one in my collection of Disney steels without it. Only my foreign (to the UK) are missing it otherwise.
