I have a question about receiver and Blu-ray player.
Are any of these A/V receiver good for this Blu-ray player and this speaker? 1. ONKYO 5.1-Channel 3-D Ready Home Theater Receiver with Built-In Bluetooth (TX-SR333) 2. DENON 5.2 Channel Full 4K Ultra HD A/V Receiver with Bluetooth (AVR-S500BT) 3. SONY 5.2 Ch. 4K A/V Receiver (STR-DH550) I have above blu-ray player, and Speaker and plan to buy A/V receiver. |

So, if I connect BD player to receiver that I listed above, and connect the speaker that I have, I should able to hear sound from BD player, not TV? Cause this BD player is first ever I bought for BD player and before, never connected to A/V receiver before. Then which one should I choose from the list that I wrote above? The BD player hooks up to the receiver via HDMI. The output of the receiver hooks up to the TV via HDMI (out). If you have cable or satellite tuner, there are two ways to hook those up: a) Hook those up via HDMI to the receiver. In that case, you might have to manually silence the TV speaker sound. -or- b) Hook up the cable or satellite box directly to the TV. TV sound will be fed to the receiver via the Audio Return Channel using the same HDMI cable that feeds from the receiver to the TV. When using HDMI control, the TV sound will automatically shut off when using the receiver and automatically turn back on if you shut the receiver off. The benefit of the latter method is that you don't always have to use the receiver when watching TV. For example, late at night, you might want to use only the TV's speakers. The TV and BD player will work with any of the receivers. They all work the same in this regard. Each of those receivers might have slightly different features and audio quality, but that's largely subjective. |

@ZoetMB
Thanks for another reply. What if I don't have any TV broadcast service? I don't watch TV program, so I didn't get TV broadcast service. |
