Plus, if I were getting into the DBZ Kai Blu-rays now, I'd definitely choose the seasons over the parts (but I've already have Parts 1-6 so, I'll just finish the collection with two left).

I'm hoping they'll pass along the three month release schedule to the season sets. I downloaded the episodes and watched them on vacation and fell hard for the show and I'll definitely purchase them, just not in the separate volumes.

You don't know what you've been missing out on, but I kinda get your point, it has more eps than the Parts' volumes.

Season One: 01-26
Season Two: 27-52
Season Three: 53-78
Season Four: 79-98

The Parts' version will still be more valuable than the Season sets, especially those 1-4 Parts on Blu-ray and DVD (contains the original Dragon Ball Kai BGM, instead of DBZ's BGM replacement).

DBZ's BGM on Dragon Ball Kai was an excellent replacement for Dragon Ball Kai's BGM (doesn't always combine because whoever did the job, wasn't doing it at its best).

I can't wait to get my hands and watch Dragon Ball Z Kai: Part Seven on Blu-ray. ^_^

Btw, episode 97 last mins shouldn't have played Dragon Soul, Son Chi-Chi was crying and with such song it just was completely unsuitable.

The sad thing is that I want to repurchase Seasons 1 and 2 to have a consistent score for Kai. I don't have a problem with either Yamamoto nor Kikuchi, but having a consistent score is nice compared to having half-and-half.

I understand the value but I hate the idea of owning double and it all comes down to $$$ which is something I'd rather save for something else. If anything, I already have the episodes on my external hard drive.

I would love to have a consistent release of kai in terms of music, I hate when i go from part four to five and hear the drastic music change it completely throws me off (although i do prefer yamamotos music), I wonder what the hell is taking them so long with part 7 though... stupid funimation

Like ps3owner mention, they're being recalled because Kai's official score is now Kikuchi. Thanks to the music scandal, all future versions of Kai must have the Kikuchi score.
