Default Reactivating Netflix

Hi all,
Sorry if this is too out of place, I wasn't sure where else to put it.
Has anyone here ever cancelled a Netflix account and reactivated it some time later? My sister had a 6 month free trial which I used and when it came to the end, I put in my card details, but re-evaluated my money situation and decided to cancel it until I had money. Now I do, but what I want to know is, will they take the money out of my account immediately on reactivation, or will it be after the first month?
Thanks

It should be immediately, as it was for me in the past. Hope that helps!

From the billing section of Netflix' terms of service:

Quote:
Billing Cycle. The membership fee for our service will be billed at the beginning of the paying portion of your membership and each month thereafter unless and until you cancel your membership. We automatically bill your Payment Method each month on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your paying membership. Membership fees are fully earned upon payment. We reserve the right to change the timing of our billing, in particular, as indicated below, if your Payment Method has not successfully settled. In the event your paying membership began on a day not contained in a given month, we may bill your Payment Method on a day in the applicable month or such other day as we deem appropriate. For example, if you started your Netflix membership or became a paying member on January 31st, your next payment date is likely to be February 28th, and your Payment Method would be billed on that date. Your renewal date may change due to changes in your Membership. Visit our website and click on the "View billing details" link on the "Your Account" page to see the commencement date for your next renewal period. We may authorize your Payment Method in anticipation of membership or service-related charges. As used in these Terms of Use, "billing" shall indicate a charge, debit or other payment clearance, as applicable, against your Payment Method. Unless otherwise stated differently, month or monthly refers to your billing cycle.

You pay monthly, so if you sign up today you will pay $7.99 today, then your next payment of $7.99 will be on July 7th.

I dont know about your state, but I get taxed on it, so account for that, also, there was talk of a rate hike. My account says grandfathered in until 2016 unless I cancel, then reactivate will be a larger amount

Well I live in England, and as far as I know, we don't get taxed. I could be wrong.

Hey guys, me again. I have another question. I'm really sorry if this comes off as a stupid question, but it is one I need an answer to nevertheless and the internet isn't as helpful as I'd like it to be.

Basically, I never did reactivate my account. Before I could get around to it, my friend set one up on his bank card and asked if I wanted to go halves on it, so I thought, yeah why not. We're currently in our free month but we're concerned about whether or not we'll actually be allowed the account. He's 17 (As am I), which will appear on his card details. Will that stop us from using the account?

My first thought was that "Obviously he's not 18 so once the free month is up, we won't be allowed to use Netflix anymore" however, it asked for his card details before he signed up. Surely if they had a problem/could see his age from the card then they wouldn't let us have the free month in first place?

So again, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but any answers will be appreciated.

Hi everyone,
So our trial ends in 3 days and I'd really appreciate if somebody could weigh in on the above question. If you don't know, that's fine. Thank you

No, this isn't what I'm asking. I'm coming to the end of my free month, my question is, will they actually notice from charging my friend's card that he's not 18? Cause we already gave them the details and they let us have it so I assumed that if they could tell, they just wouldn't let us have the month
