How To Edit Cast & Crew?

I notice that most pages for Blu-rays / DVDs allow you to edit the cast & crew for the movie / show. So I thought I'd go back to some titles that I had submitted a while ago that I knew I hadn't added the cast & crew to. However, they don't have an 'edit cast & crew' option like the other pages. Just curious if I needed to do anything else in order to see that option appear? Or is this just the case with some titles? I like to keep up with how many films I have with the same people in the cast & crew.

Do they? I didn't know that. I'm still perplexed that Michael Gough is listed as being in Doctor Who: Spearhead from Space.

Cast and Crew are tied to the Movies (theatrical) listings and can be edited from there. The cast and crew only show up on the media listings if the Movie ID is added to the media listing. If you edit a Blu-ray or DVD listing the Master movie ID needs to be filled in for the cast and crew to show up on those pages.

BD/DVD pages only have an 'Edit cast & crew' option if they're linked to a theatrical entry. The cast editing actually takes place on those theatrical pages rather then on each individual movie release.

If the BD/DVD is not linked to a theatrical entry, you can connect it to one using the Master Movie ID field. And if there isn't currently a theatrical entry, you can create one, link it, and then edit the cast.

Theatrical entries are the ones that you find when you search under the 'movies' tab at the very top of the page.

Yep! I looked up that film and you can fix that. Directly under the options that include overview, review, region coding, forum, etc., there are editing options. Edit cast & crew is among them.

Looks like that BD release is connected to a theatrical entry that spans the years 1963-1989. So, there might be cast that don't apply to that particular BD release but do to one or more of the dozens of DVD releases that are also connected.
