One of the greatest French films ever made, Marcel Carné's Le Enfants du Paradis is getting a Blu-Ray release on September 17th from Second Sight. More info about the recent 4K restoration

This is awesome news. I'm very tempted to import - though I kind of wonder whether Criterion might have any plans to release a blu-ray here in the States.

Looks like it has been pulled from schedule

I'll email Second Sight and see what I can find out but being the Easter weekend I wouldn't expect a reply anytime soon...

The feeling is pretty positive that this certainly will be announced by Criterion tomorrow. An intrepid forum user found a release date listed on DVD Aficionado.

Looking at the cover on Amazon, looks like it's going to be a digipak slip.
