Didn't see any threads for this, thought there'd be more Takashi Miike fans. Anyway, was anyone able to find this today, the site said it came out Dec. 1st

Blu Ray was cancelled last I heard. Only coming out as a DVD.

Yeah, kinda weird as they had plans to release it on blu-ray.

What's even stranger is that the company has almost completely stopped producing blu-rays and almost all of their upcoming films are only going to be on DVD. Wonder why.

It's coming out next year in the UK if you can wait and don't want the DVD version.

Any chance of this being an exclusive?

Best Buy just dropped the price on it within the last day (to $17.99) but is showing out of stock.

Just seems weird to drop the price (since it was only one of a few they did this on) if it's been cancelled (and dropping it almost 2 months afterwards)

Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on there. I have yet find this on a U.S. blu-ray. The DVD is almost everywhere. Even saw it at Wal-Mart.

I think it's cause DVDs still sell more then BD. My local Target has also been carrying more DVDs then BDs, even when a film has a BD release they'll carry the DVD only. When I asked a friend who works there he said DVDs sell more for them. There are other movies that came out last year where I bought the DVD cause no BD came out.

I can confirm that UK blu-ray is region B-locked.
