Yeah the lenticulars are awesome! but with caution the WB one's have gotten cheaper paper stock in the last few years and even in stores hard to find a MINT one at all. I just gave up even when I did my amazon 3D order for Edge of Tomorrow I knew it would show up in good condition only and I was right all corners were smooshed but the actual front cover was fine. I just know with WB you want it mint buy it in the store. anyhow my rant lol

Lenticular is my favorite slip packaging.

The Avengers was a weak one, but Arrow Season 2 is awesome. Godzilla is mediocre.

I'd love to get my hands on Harold & Kumar 2 LE Lenticular.

Most are nothing great but some lenticular slips are amazing. The ones for Gravity and Top Gun 3D really do have perceptible depth and dimensionality to them, I even broke my "leave the stickers on" rule for those slips because the lenticular was that cool. Couple of others every now and then look OK, too (Transformers: AoE, Hobbit: AUJ Best Buy-exclusive).

They're not my favorite, mainly because it makes them so much harder to find in good condition on release day, and if you didn't pick one up immediately they all become damaged after being passed around for a couple years. So for example, when Best Buy just got a new shipment of The Dark Knight Rises with slips, they all sucked to the last one at every location. I've gone through about five secondhand Incredible Hulk slips on ebay and they all suck because they're hard to take of if you're not really protective about that kind of thing. Get one fingerprint on it and it's over, and the edges tend to wear more easily than normal slips for some reason.

Same here. Such a waste of material. They serve no purpose whatsoever.

I do keep them in case I want to sell a Blu-ray. I have heard that they can be sold individually and I should really look into that.

So many lenticulars are my absolute favorites, such as Wreck It Ralph 3D, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and Tron Legacy 3D.

The three-dimensional effect coupled with the extra weight from the lenticular card just make them seem so much more... substantial.

Love 'em!

I dislike every slipcover ever made just like how I dislike this thread as it is pointless and a waste of thread space.

I like slipcovers. I cannot really explain why, but they look cool when done properly. The Transformers: Age of Extinction Walmart exclusive is an awesome example. It's not lenticular or 3D, but with that embossing job Optimus looks like he's popping out of the cover in 3D. Cool effect. The lenticular ones for Dark of the Moon and Age of Extinction are both fine examples. The Conjuring? Pretty cool slip there too. Heck, I don't even have 3D capability, but I am one who bought the Tangled 3D back in 2011 because the lenticular art was so much better to me than the regular 2D, as shiny as that was/is. That castle with the lanterns flying in the background and the whole color scheme for it sold me hard and heavy. And the recent Best Buy exclusive for Sleeping Beauty is neat too, though it still doesn't really hold a candle up to the Platinum from 2009. That slip is gorgeous. I love the ones that fold out. That's why I still hold on to my Platinum DVD's for Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and the Special Edition for Sleeping Beauty from 2003. Disney has gotten a bit lame with their art recently.
