RE HD made good money because it was a relatively easy remaster and had good sales. This is going to fundamentally be the same process. To do part 2 would mean all new models and assets (i.e. remake).

That's happening as well. When the info for RE HD leaked so did models and screen caps for RE2 HD.

Did Capcom say they were gonna focus on digital more, instead of releasing physical products? (Aside from obvious SFV)

I wouldn't rule out any possible RE game making its way over to PS4 is some form.

I remember a fan was making his own that was outed around the same time, maybe that's what Galactus means? I don't remember anything from Capcom other than strong hints at RE0.

I do not think i will ever see my favorite RE remastered

My favorite is RE2 back on PS1, everything about the game was perfect, even the music...

bc they cant. That game would require a remake. A remaster of RE2 would be awful IMO. RE0 is the most obvious one that hadnt receieved one yet

People have been wanting that for years and I hope it eventually becomes a reality. What Ive wanted them to do for a while is to do a remake of RE2 and 3 and merge them into one game considering they take place in the same time frame in the same city. You get these options when booting the game up

1. Play RE2
2. Play RE3; both would be separate campaigns as originally intended
3. New RE2+3 mode which combines the adventure into one story where you play as Leon, Jill and Claire with new cutscenes as the game rotates between protagonists. Actions you do with one character may affect stuff that goes on with the others.

I know its just a dream that will likely never happen

RE sits right there next to MGS as having a special place in my gaming history so of course I'll be buying this.

This game was so bad. I remember back in high school the local blockbuster would be loaded with used copies of this game because nobody wanted it.
