Default How do I know when my submissions have been approved?

I submitted a bunch of releases that weren't on the site that are in my collection and was just wondering how long it takes for them to approve the submissions and how I'd know if they were approved or not.

Thank you for your contributions to the site.

The Admins will get to them as soon as possible, at times there can be a backlog due to numerous submissions on a daily basis.

I don't believe you will be directly notified, but if you look at your profile status, and then click on Community Profile...scroll down from there and click on your Achievement Status... once that is opened you can look and see how many Successful Submissions have been approved and what specifically they are...

For example, here is my page:

After Clicking on Achievement Tab:

Whenever contributions you make are accepted, your stats on this page will be updated.

To add to what Adrock said There are only a few (2 to 5) people that can approve things There can be thousands of submissions per day Please give it a little time / them a chance to do it

Hi. I hope you don't mind me coming into this thread but I am a fairly new member here and I have been busy adding my Blu-Ray collection, but I bought a title / edition that is not currently in the database.

Could someone please tell me how to create a new entry as I can't seem to find an option anywhere to add to the database.

It's the Italian edition of Saturn 3 that I wish to add...

Where does it list pending submissions....? Nothing comes up in the FAQ search.

I see that my achievements say I have one successful submission which wasn't actually successful at all because I tried removing the covers but they're still wrong.

I don't understand how this site is suppose to work. Seems like a gigantic cluster****.

As noted above, pending submissions are numerous. There can be hundreds at any one time. The lists are only available to the personnel who process the submissions.

Your "successful" submission was to change the temporary cover status of "Tales from the Darkside" DVD from yes to no. The image removal was a separate submission. However, that submission was blank, and we prefer an interim, temporary image to nothing at all. Accordingly, the image removal has been rejected, and the cover status has been reset to temporary. (If there was a problem with a cover image upload, you may want to try it again.)

The site's database is extensive and elaborate, encompassing numerous formats and multiple settings. It must seem overwhelming to a newcomer. Give it some time, and as you become more familiar with the site, I'm sure it will become less confusing.
