I also think Magic Mike will beat Genisys. The first movie was huge(box office wise, perverts!) and never underestimate the female audience and their unlucky boyfriends and husbands who get dragged along with them.

. Alex Pettyfer was the cutest of them but he's not in this. Still, I enjoyed the first a lot and will be seeing this one. Should be a fun time.

I think Jurassic World will probably be #1 again. Terminator will be a bit of a disappointment, IMO.

Magic Mike won't do as well as the first. I'm thinking around 75 Million total.

No way, I can already sense the hype around it now. I don't think it'll be a better film than the first and in the long term it might close short of the first films total. But it'll do a bigger opening than the first film.

I do agree, Terminator isn't going to a barnstormer by any stretch of the imagination, especially if the reviews continue going down. But if Ted 2 doesn't stop Jurassic World this weekend, something is certainly beating it come Terminator or Magic Mike time.

I hope you're right about Magic Mike but I don't feel like there is all that much hype for it and I don't think a lot of the audience that turned out for the first were super happy with what they got. I think it will have a great opening day but fall fast. And opening on Wednesday means it won't have a higher opening weekend than the first.

Never had intentions of watching the original Magic Mike, don't have intentions of watching the sequel either.

I'm going for Terminator: Genysis, for however good or bad it may be. This is the Arnold film we've been waiting for, so I've gotta support that.

Really no clue how to call this one; Terminator's either gonna flop horribly or be the next JW. I'm going optimistic, so for the five day opener:

Genisys -- $110M
Magic Mike -- $60M
Jurassic -- $55M

I think Minions could've possibly pulled it off, or gotten close to the $100 million mark. Didn't one of the Despicable Me movies come out like July 2nd or 3rd? I believe it was the sequel.
