Minions will do HUGE business...Inside Out skews to a slightly older audience, and there's no real competition in the CGI animation field for the rest of the summer (plus, those little yellow devils are catnips for kids). If it makes less than $400 million in the U.S., I will be greatly surprised.

I can't believe someone believes the Minions will do less than $60 million opening weekend. I do think it will be rather front-loaded, only has about a month to do its damage before kids start going back to school.

. Minions are small is size but huge in box office potential..$100 million opening weekend and a $400 million domestic run are in play here.

I'm going slightly above 100. Inside Out should be petering out. JW should be winding down as well. TG and MM will decrease drastically the following week. The box office is ripe for the picking by Minions. Going slightly over 100 million with 110 million, but it has the potential to do even better.

Will open over 100 Million. This will be HUGE. Reaction is always insane when I see the trailer even from adults. Hell, I don't usually go see animated movies theatrically but will probably go see this. I really enjoyed Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2 and this looks funny.

"INSIDE OUT" will have no problem cracking $250M by the time "MINIONS" comes out next Friday. It could easily do it as early as Monday.

"JW" isn't fizzling as well and still has well over $100M left in the bank.

"TERMINATOR GENISYS" and "MAGIC MIKE" different story. "MINIONS" is definitely opening $75M+. That's my lowball.

lol that's only 42 million away that's not saying much. Minions will crush IO next week watch. JW will be on it's 5th weekend, and while I'm not saying it's going to completely fizzle out, it's going to continue to decrease to roughly 25 million for next weekend. Minions is going for over 100 million. TG and MM are the ones that will completely fizzle next week.
