I would be surprised to see Dory repeat.

Tarzan will be my viewing choice though, no interest in the fish.

Purge will be strong. Could upset Dory but I doubt it. Tarzan and BFG could bomb.

I would be surprised if Purge opened with more than $20M especially with Conjuring 2 and Shallows in theaters.

I'm hoping this is the case but I'm a little worried. Good word of mouth should help.

I think The BFG's the biggest of the openers. It's Spielberg and Rylance back together (Bridge of Spies did rather well back in October) and I'm sure there will be some nostalgia appeal with the book.

The Legend of Tarzan's a wild card. It could surprise like Rise of the Planet of the Apes did in 2011 or it could be a flop like Warcraft was. Who knows?

The Purge franchise looks to have run its course and with this one looking to be in poor taste (in a franchise where its fans actually think such a concept is a good idea), I feel non-fans will stay away. I don't expect Universal to greenlight a Purge 4 (besides, where would they go with it?).

I'm surprised how everyone thinks BFG could bomb. Families probably have already seen Finding Dory and The BFG looks like a nice follow up. It won't have a mind blowing opening week but it should do solid business and even open up at the top spot.

Purge will do well, thanks to good will earned by the second film. Dory will still hold. Independence Day will drop and I do not expect Tarzan do any good at all. I'm getting Pan flashbacks every time I see a commercial for it.

For the most part it will be a dud. Too kiddy for adults and too creepy looking for kids. And all I ever hear about it is jokes about the title and what BFG stands for. Will likely land in the 70-90 Million total area.

First Purge was "meh".
Anarchy is really bad.
This one looks the best out of them all.

Dory will win again, obviously. But here are how I think the other 3 movies will place

BFG
Purge

And dead last, probably not even making a dent.
Tarzan

That being said, I am looking forward to Tarzan the most.

Seriously? First was alright. Second blows it away. What an awesome sequel and a huge improvement over the first. Third looks awesome as well. I'm looking forward to it. So glad Frank Grillo is back and I love Elizabeth Mitchell.

I'll be seeing Tarzan this weekend based entirely on nostalgia. Sadly, I think it will flop though.
