Yes! On Dangerous Ground is one of the great "wilderness location noir" movies, and it's one of my favorite Warner Bros. classic film noir titles.

This is going to look great in high definition.

This is great news. I saw On Dangerous Ground a few years ago on the big screen. This film is a great example of the kind of role Robert Ryan excelled at playing: Unhinged, violent characters with conflicted personalities - men that are haunted by their own dark side. "Why?! Why do you make me do it?!"

This is absolutely one of my favorite Noirs. It's got a terrific Bernard Herrmann score and great performances by Ryan and Lupino. Something that doesn't seem to get mentioned much is an amazing performance by Ward Bond. The scenes with him and Ryan are really intense.

I expect this to be a bigger upgrade than most WAC titles released so far because the DVD transfer was probably the worst out of all the Film Noir sets Warner released (this title was in Volume 3 I believe).

We need Gun Crazy badly. We also need Robert Wise's The Set Up (like On dangerous Ground, it also stars Robert Ryan), and Nicholas Ray's They Live By Night (among others by Ray). Is it possible to make Detour look good? Or have the original elements been lost/destroyed? Crossfire is another Noir classic I'd love to see get the Blu-ray treatment, not only does it have both Robert Ryan and Robert Young, it also has Robert Mitchum and Gloria Graham (starring 3 Ryans and a lady).
