Default Top 5 Ultra Bluray (4k) wishlist

So Ultra Blurays are coming out soon and it's likely that only select big name movies prior to 2010 (Terminator 2, The Lord of The Rings, The Dark Knight) will be re released in ultra bluray, but if you could choose any 5 movies, what would you choose? For me:

1. The Last Samurai
2. Back To The Future Series (I'm kinda cheating here)
3. Rocky series (cheating again)
4. The Matrix
5. Vanilla Sky (Mainly becasue the bluray release looks average)

Made my list real quick, so some extras would probably be Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and The Prestige.

Try to make it movies that were released prior to 2010 and movies that aren't crazy blockbusters. The movies you mentioned will almost certainly be released in 4k.

I won't upgrade to 4K but there's no doubt that Blade Runner would look crazy good in that format.

If I did get into UltraHD, I'd want The Amazing Spider-Man movies.

Default Easy...

Film:

1.) "The Godfather"

2.) "The Godfather: Part II"

3.) "2001: A Space Odyssey"

4.) "Blade Runner"

5.) "Pulp Fiction"

Television:

1.) "The Prisoner" The Complete Series (Patrick McGoohan, of course)

2.) "Utopia" series 1 & 2 (uk version)

3.) "Twin Peaks" The Entire Mystery

4.) "Breaking Bad" The Complete Series

5.) "Oz" The Complete Series

As to whether or not the above choices are the most deserving, or even the films and television shows which would benefit the most from this amazing and undisputedly gorgeous looking technology ...well, let's just agree that opinions will always vary. However, when and if I, myself double dip (and in some cases even triple and quadruple dip), it will only be for my absolute favorite films and television shows, because after all of the extensive, endless arguing, with regard to picture quality, filming technique and cinematography fades into background noise, the truth is ...(at least for me), that the only films and television shows worth buying yet again, at this point, are my all time favorites. Those television shows and films which I loved, cared for and watched repeatedly throughout the years.
