That is indeed good news. However, I still think the format wars will be decided mostly based on US sales (mostly being the key word).

I can get blu ray in my small queensland town is several shops, good titles too and reasonably good release dates and amounts. HDDVD, much much much less so, sometimes i see only one HDDVD and thats transformers, and usually the employees at the store intermix the HDDVDs with the blu rays and you have to actually dig behind the blu rays to find the HDDVD, its pretty clear, blu ray wins australia. Hurry up america!
