Default HDMI 1.3a
Im looking at upgrading my amp to the new Denon 2808. The Denon handles HDMI 1.3a but my projector is HDMI 1.0 or 1.1 at best (its 3 years old (Sanyo Z3 720p)). My question is if I run HDMI from my PS3 to the amp then amp to the projector will my projector be able to handle the signal passed to it in the HDMI 1.3a format (I dont totally understand the difference in the HDMI types)? My projector currently works fine with a HDMI feed straight from the PS3
