Hope it has all their own special features from their DVD release. And a BD50, etc.

It amazes me that I haven't even heard of this film....until few hours ago. The trailer looks good, the cast is great, IMDB and RT ratings are solid. I'll rectify that and watch it ASAP.

I haven't seen the movie, but I have read the play a bunch of times, and even seen it performed once. I wonder how faithful the movie version is. I look forward to seeing this.

VERY. Tom Stoppard, who wrote the play (if you know what I mean) directed the film. The film, while not exactly the same, gets all the same things out of the concept and delivers a very similar experience to seeing the play.

Highlight for me was the tennis match and the coin flip scene. Heads....heads....heads.

As I recall it's mostly word for word accurate, with the film adding some visual gags (which might be taken from some productions, but weren't written in the original play), but it's been a very long time since I've conpared them.

The visual gags are mostly Gary Oldman (Rosencrantz) getting ideas for brilliant scientific experiments which sadly don't quite work.

Roth is OK but Oldman is the real star of this film; very funny, and it's a shame he hasn't done more comedy since.

I love the film but (judging by the DVD) it won't have English subtitles for the deaf, so I'll probably pass.

I've never seen that artwork before; I like it. Wish they'd had the balls to use that. It's not like this release is going to sell a ton of copies anyway.

Edit: I did some googling and found some other ones that I like. Of course, pretty much anything would be better than that blue/red cover.

Hades has officially frozen over.

This is one of those releases I'd hoped would make its way to BD, but I never really thought it stood a chance.

I've always enjoyed this cover (probably because the copy of the play that I have uses it). I have seen the film, but it's been a few years (three or four); I do remember enjoying it though. However, I'm not sure if it merits a purchase for me.
