Cover Art Section - Blu-ray Forum

Hi - can we get a cover art section? I will be happy to scan in my covers if you all are willing to have a section for them.

Also, is there any objection to posting them?

It would be great to have some large scans to use as wall paper or just for veiwing.

I am sure the cover art is copyrighted, then there may be a legal issue there.
Also that leads straight into that gray area

They are copyrighted material. This would most likely never be possible.

I am sure screen shots are copyrighted as well. Those are available. The list goes on, but I see you point.

If an outside source made them available, would that person be reprimanded?

We are only using screenshots approved by studios.

It's a good idea though, we have a "Box Cover" tab when you view a movie, it's just that we haven't started to use it yet. If there aren't any copyright problems we will start using it

This would be great. AVS has a pretty strong thread of custom cover art, it would be great to have both custom and official art.

I'm in desperate need of covers for Die Hard 2-4.

I wanna see someone scan the covers for the four Discovery Atlas discs and reduce them so they will fit in standard BD cases.

Tell you what, I am going to start a thread about it and I will link them OFF SITE. If for any reason you all disagree with this or have a problem - don't ban me - just ask me to stop sharing them and what not.

Just looking out for the community. There is no place to purchase the cover art. I called some studios and asked. I am not selling them so there is not problem there. They are freely available as is and of course copyrighted by their makers

That's a good idea for those of us that buy previously rented discs with no covers. I've been using an excel spreadsheet for mine. Something more professional looking would be appreciated.
