Default Think storm killed my 805

We had a pretty serious storm roll through last night. Today I went downstairs to play Xbox and nothing would show on the screen. I tried several devices and nothing showed up. I swapped the himi into different inputs and changed the tv - nothing. I pulled the hdmi out from the 805 and plugged it into the blu ray directly and the screen lit up.

Any chance I missed something?

Reading your title I was thinking Storm from the X-Men, I would gladly have Halle Berry blow my sh#t up. On to topic first off sorry to hear that. It does sound like some internal issue. Did you have the tv plugged directly into the wall or a power bar ? Try maybe a factory default on your tv if you can get a menu screen to pop up.

What's a 805, that can be anything! Whenever there is a severe thunderstorm in effect, especially when it's lightening and thundering. I usually turn off my TV immediately, even though I'm using a surge protector just to be extra cautious because, an act of God is unpredictable.
